During my second year at the Rotterdam University of Applied Science, I was required to do an internship on a construction site. This was such a successful experience that it resulted into a part-time job next to my studies, until I left the country to do my thesis abroad. I had an fantastic experience being part of the team!
On site I learned about project management in the execution phase and quality control, as well as what the many details that can be thought about before the technical phase.
Unique to this project is that all single family homes are net-zero and have many features implemented to make them so, such as floor heating, solar panels, geo-thermal, triple glazed windows, etc.
